TERMS OF SERVICE

THE RULES OF THE MACHINE.

LAST UPDATED · JULY 2026

THE SHORT VERSION

Plain English, because a contract nobody reads protects nobody. Here's what I build, what you pay, what keeps running month to month, what you own, and what's on you.

WHO THIS IS FOR

INSERT COIN is a business-to-business service. I build promotional tools for brands and retailers. Nothing on this site is sold to consumers, and no age-restricted product is sold here at all. The demo game is a demonstration — its age gate, prizes and codes illustrate a mechanic, they aren't a real offer, and nothing it hands you is redeemable anywhere.

By hiring me you're confirming you're doing it on behalf of a business, and that you're old enough to sign a contract where you live.

QUOTES AND PAYMENT

CABINET SERVICE

Every build includes 30 days of Cabinet Service. After that it runs month to month at the rate written in your quote — $500/mo on ARCADE, $1,000–$1,500/mo on FLAGSHIP, $2,500–$5,000/mo on HIGH ROLLER. There's no annual term and nothing to buy out.

THE 7-DAY CLOCK

Seven days is real, but it starts when I can actually start. The clock begins the day your assets land — all of them:

Miss one and the clock waits until it shows up. If you go quiet, it keeps waiting — I'm not going to invent your prize rules for you. It doesn't wait forever, though: the 30-day rule under Quotes and Payment still applies. Your review time counts inside the week too, so how fast you reply is the difference between seven days and not.

WHAT YOU OWN, WHAT YOU LICENSE

COMPLIANCE IS YOURS

This one isn't going in small print.

You are responsible for whether your promotion is legal where you run it. Prize and contest rules, sweepstakes law, no-purchase-necessary requirements, discount and inducement restrictions, age gating, the conditions on your license, platform policies — all of that sits with you.

I'll build the mechanic you ask for, and if something looks obviously risky I'll say so, because I'd rather speak up than not. That's an opinion from someone who operates a licensed store under strict rules — it is not legal advice and it is not a compliance review. Before you launch, clear the promotion with your own lawyer and, where you're licensed, your own regulator. If a regulator or a platform takes issue with your promotion, that's yours to answer.

Some categories need a gate cleared before a platform will run them at all — CBD certification, alcohol restrictions, gambling prior authorization. If yours is one of them, I'll tell you which gate I think applies and get the page and the assets into the shape that process asks for. You file it, in your name. I don't obtain it, secure it or speed it up, and I get no say in the answer.

NO GUARANTEE ON RESULTS

I can promise the work: a finished game built to the scope we agreed, tested on real phones over mobile data — the under-two-second load I advertise is the standard I test against — delivered and handed over to you.

I can't promise what it earns you. No conversion rate, no lead count, no revenue, no return on ad spend. And on the platforms: I ship a destination built for review, but nobody can guarantee an ad gets approved, including me. That call belongs to the platform — their reviewers, their policies, and those change. Anyone promising you approval, or quoting you numbers up front, is guessing. What a promotion does depends on your offer, your prize, your traffic and your audience — and most of that sits on your side of the table.

Straight answer: the build is the thing I control, so the build is the thing I'll stand behind.

GOVERNING LAW

INSERT COIN operates from Ontario, Canada. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and Ontario's courts are where a dispute gets settled. That holds even though most clients are in the US — Ontario is where I am, so it's the law I can actually answer to.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

I may update this page. The version that applies to your build is the one in force when you booked it — a change here doesn't rewrite a project already underway.

ASK BEFORE YOU BOOK

Anything here unclear, ask me first — hello@DOMAIN_PLACEHOLDER. I'd rather answer a question now than argue about a sentence later.
